Why 90X5
Designed as a next-generation connectivity solution, the 90X5 brings enterprise reliability to business continuity, routing, voice applications, and backup communications — in a platform built to adapt to your deployment, not the other way around.
4-8 FXS ports carry the analog voice, fax, and alarm lines your business already depends on.
Battery and cellular failover keep voice, routing, and data online when power or the primary connection drops.
Swappable battery modules and dual-SIM failover mean the 90X5 keeps working through outages other gateways can't survive.
A 1 Gb/s router platform with 5G RedCap WWAN handles primary or backup internet for the whole site.
Software & management
The 90X5 is provisioned and monitored through Ara, DataRemote's device management platform — including support for its modular hardware variants.
Preliminary specifications are based on current EVT-stage product planning and are subject to change without notice.
Overview
The 90X5 Modular POTS IN A BOX® is a 5G RedCap POTS IN A BOX® appliance that replaces analog copper telephone lines. It presents standard RJ-11 FXS ports locally, so existing analog equipment keeps operating unchanged while the line itself moves to a managed cellular connection. Modular POTS IN A BOX® / Business Gateway Platform
Approved for use on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile US, AT&T FirstNet, Bell Canada, UScellular, Webbing.
What it supports
Equipment that keeps operating on this appliance after its copper line is retired.
Verifiable credentials
Each record below covers this specific model, grouped by what kind of credential it actually is — a third-party certification is not the same claim as a listing, a carrier approval, a manufacturer attestation, or an independent test engagement. Where an identifier is shown it is the one issued by the organization named, so the claim can be checked against their own record. Where it reads “identifier not published”, the record is confirmed by DataRemote's records but its identifier has not yet been published here.
Why certifications are listed per module. The 90X5 is modular, and most of its certifications attach to an individual module — the Cellular WWAN, Core Router / ATA, or Power / Battery module — rather than to the appliance as a whole. That is deliberate: a module can be revised or replaced without re-certifying the rest of the platform.

A certification applies to the models and configurations named in the issuing organization's record. It does not by itself make any particular installation compliant — that depends on the applicable code edition, the configuration, and the authority having jurisdiction.
