Hi, Carter Dewey with DataRemote, coming to you from beautiful, sunny Miami, Florida, here to talk about the DataRemote 90X1.

This is our latest device with 5G technology. It’s 5G with fallback to LTE, so if you’re not in a 5G area, you get to take advantage of the higher LTE bands, too—the Cat 21 and Cat 18.

You’re going to notice that the four cellular antennas on the device have SMA connectors on the side. That way, if you’re installing it in a telecom closet or an area without great reception, you can run an external antenna by simply connecting it to the SMA connector and running that coaxial cable out.

On this device, we have an 18-cell lithium-ion battery. You can see it’s a larger device, but think of something like a Pringles can inside of here. It gives you up to 48 hours of backup battery power.

With that battery, we also have an external power output. If you wanted to connect a cordless phone, a point-of-sale system, or another device, you could power that. If there’s a power outage, it not only keeps the connectivity and the POTS lines up, but also that additional device.

You’ll notice there are eight RJ-11s on this, each capable of the enhanced-line capability, which supports fax, modem data, alarm protocols, and life-safety lines.

This is our latest device with a 5G global SIM, so this will work not only in the United States, but globally.
