How are you guys doing today? My name is Jonathan. I’m an account manager here at DataRemote.
Today, I’m going to take some time just to show you how to remove the replaceable, rechargeable batteries for the CDS-9010 and for the CDS-9090.
For the CDS-9010, it’s very, very simple. There are two eject buttons on the front. The device comes with either 12- or 24-hour battery backup.
For the CDS-9090, there are four thumb screws on the front. They come off fairly simply, and if not, you can always use a Phillips screwdriver to go ahead and take those out.
Once you remove the faceplate, you’ll see this small cushion on the interior. What this cushion does is keep the battery in place. The battery is connected by a small white Molex connector here in the bottom corner. Once you pull that out, you’ll see that the battery slides out fairly easily.
Okay, once you’ve done this, you can then go ahead and slide in your new battery, connect the Molex connector, put the cushion and faceplate back on, and you’ll be good to go.
For the CDS-9010, all you have to do is put the new batteries back in. You’ll hear them click into place. You’ll be good to go as well.
I hope you enjoyed this small tutorial. Again, my name is Jonathan here at DataRemote. Have a great week.
