CDS-9070 Installation Video — AT&T Wireless Broadband

Hello. Thank you for purchasing your AT&T Wireless Broadband, brought to you by AT&T and DataRemote. The CDS-9070 is equipped with four LAN ports for your wired devices, a built-in Wi-Fi access point for your wireless devices, and it also provides a 12-hour battery backup.

Today, I’ll be showing you how to set up your CDS-9070.

First, let’s start off with what’s inside the box. The box includes a Quick Start Guide on how to set up your CDS-9070, a power cord to power up your CDS-9070, two LTE antennas, two Wi-Fi antennas for your wireless devices, an Ethernet cable for your wired devices, and lastly, the CDS-9070 along with a mounting bracket for installation, if needed.

Let’s start off with connecting the power cord. Here on the back of the CDS-9070, you’re gonna go ahead and get the power cord and connect it to the power slot. Make sure you connect it all the way in and it’s secured.

On the front, we’ve gotta make sure that the battery switch is set to “On.”

Next, we’ll go ahead and connect the Wi-Fi antennas. You’ll see that the Wi-Fi antenna has a female connector, and on the device, you’ll be connecting it to the male connector.

Next, we’re gonna go ahead and plug in the LTE antennas. The LTE antenna has a male connector, and on the back of the CDS-9070, you’re gonna be connecting it to a female connector. Make sure that the antennas are not touching each other.

Now we have successfully connected the LTE antennas and the Wi-Fi antennas. For the best reception, put the CDS-9070 in an optimal location, like by a window or on a tabletop.

Lastly, we’ll go ahead and grab the Ethernet cable. On the back of the device, you have your four LAN ports. You’ll connect the Ethernet cable to either LAN port, and then you’ll go ahead and connect it to one of your wired devices, either a switch or a computer.
